Loosen the cord before putting the shoe on. Use the rear pull tab to help settle your heel, then adjust the closure to your preference.
A closer fit should not mean extra pressure. Recheck the toes and heel together after you adjust the cord.

How is the fit different from a regular shoe?
Each toe has its own compartment. Your overall foot length matters, but so do your toe lengths, alignment, forefoot width and heel fit. A familiar size number alone cannot tell you whether every part will fit.
What do the size numbers mean?
The options shown are numbered 35 through 45. They are not US sizes. Do not select one by applying a generic US conversion. Read the five-point fit guide before choosing. .
Can I wear them with socks?
A sock used inside this shape needs separate toe compartments too. Check the complete combination: a sock adds fabric around each toe and can change the fit. Do not force an ordinary closed-toe sock into the compartments.
Should these replace my regular shoes immediately?
Start by getting to know the fit indoors. Choose a short, familiar first wear and keep your regular shoes in your rotation while you decide what works for you. Do not push through an uncomfortable fit.
Can I choose a different size for each pair in a set?
